Hey all,
Here's a picture taken today as we tried to set up a family Christmas photo.
Week 30 (I believe)
Luisa is just about a year and a half. Still not really talking but she has no problem communicating as you can see.
Also, we got our Christmas tree and Advent wreath set up. We got it all on Gaudate Sunday, which I think is fitting. The tree still needs to be decorated but I don't want to rush it so it will probably happen when school's out. Big, classic colored lights (not the LED)? Or stick to the beautiful white lights?

You look beautiful, as always. I can not believe you only have 10 more weeks to go. This pregnancy flew by! And take your time setting up the Christmas tree, I only did mine because we have a miniature tree so it requires less time. I vote for white lights!
ReplyDeleteI think that there's something about children and coloured lights that just seems right. That being said, we use white lights on the garland that hangs over the mantle and the bar and the bay window, so I usually put 1or 2 strands of white lights on the tree first, followed by 6 or 7 strands of coloured. And then I put alternate strands on a fade... so that the tree twinkles a bit. So I vote coloured or both. :)
ReplyDeleteI know, I mini know! I'm inclined towards the colored lights because I think it would be more magical for Luisa!
